Season’s Greetings from your Panorama City Neighborhood Council

Season’s Greetings from your Panorama City Neighborhood Council

On behalf of the Panorama City Neighborhood Council, I would like to wish you and your families a Happy Holiday Season. We thank Councilmember Richard Alarcón, in particular, for his commitment to our community and his dedication to making sure that the 7th Council District gets its fair share.

As we close the year, we also would like to talk about some of our accomplishments:

Because Panorama City NC is committed to cleaning up our communities, we oversaw more than six beautification projects and organized a back-to-school back pack event during which we gave 500 back packs to the children in our community.

We organized a Health and Safety Fair which drew over 2000 community people, and also put together a field trip to the Getty Villa Museum in Pacific Palisades for 50 Panorama City residents.

We sponsored the Third Annual Service Providers Gang Summit which brought in 180 residents, service providers, and members from the LAPD to discuss ways to prevent gang activity in our area.

We created the Blythe Street Community Initiative, a coalition of community partners to bring resources to Blythe Street. We participated in five National Night events for our city only that drew over 8000 residents.

We are so proud of what we have been able to accomplish for Panorama City. It is easy to recognize what a great commitment we have made in providing services and planning even more events from which our community will benefit.

We look forward to working with all our partners and wish each of you Happy Holidays and a fruitful New Year.

Thank you.

Jose Sandoval,
Chair, Board of Directors
